Amazon`s legal department is looking for a talented commercial real estate lawyer to support the position of Corporate Counsel – Real Estate Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and fast-growing company in Amazon.com. AWS is at the forefront of the IT and cloud services industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as compute on demand, storage, content delivery, database services, and more. As a member of the AWS Real Estate Rights team, you will be responsible for supporting the global expansion of the AWS Data Center through land acquisition and leasing. They are responsible for designing and negotiating transactions for business and provide daily legal advice and contract interpretation to members of the sales team. Transactions range from standard contracts to complex, tailor-made and high-quality agreements. You`ll structure, draft, and negotiate agreements, support the existing portfolio of AWS real estate assets, manage external consultants, and advise internal business clients. In addition, you will help develop, implement and manage process improvements within the team, resolve legal issues that arise in existing business relationships and manage litigation and pre-litigation requests. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, enjoy working hard and be challenged, and exercise sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
